Enhancing Life Through Birth

QPlacental tissues have been found to be a rich source of proteins, carbohydrates, hyaluronic acids and growth factors essential for fetal growth and development.

They have been used as biologic dressings for over 100 years. Today, our products are being used in a broad range of clinical applications, including the treatment of complex chronic wounds, acute wounds such as decubitus or pressure ulcers, localized areas of injury or inflammation, and to fill soft tissue defects or voids. Our products are also used as a localized wound covering to minimize the formation of post-operative adhesions, as well as to cover or wrap the dura, nerves and tendons. Through the development of innovative processing techniques that minimally manipulate the tissue, we are harnessing the unique biologic properties of the placental tissues to improve clinical outcomes.
